In 1540 Arnaud de Lestonnac a Bordeaux merchant acquired the land from the lord of La Tour d"Esquivens and married Marie de Pontac whose family owned Ch・・teau Haut-Brion.
In 1572 his son Pierre began the construction of a wine building surrounded by nine hectares of vineyards then in 1682 the Lazarist priests of the Mission who had received an annuity from Olive Lestonnac his daughter they worked to improve the quality of their wines and built the chapel "Notre-Dame d"Aubrion"
