Tasting note: An intensely floral nose of spicy red and blue pinot fruit leads to rich elegant and satiny medium-bodied flavors that caress the palate with an abundance of tannin-buffering dry extract that culminates in a highly complex notably firm and mouth coating finish. As one would reasonably expect this does not have the precision or minerality of the Petits Monts but then Suchots rarely ever does. By contrast it is considerably fleshier and more opulent and some may find that to be even more appealing.
